STAR members across the country had a goal to increase cultural awareness , (while highlighting local minority owned restaurants) THROUGH FOOD!! Students recorded themselves cooking a meal specific to their cultural background or interviewed a local minority restaurant owner. These videos were shared together virtually for one big cultural celebration! Students not only learned a new tasty recipe, but also its cultural significance.
