A foundational part of the STAR mission is education. Our goal is to use the story of STAR to kick start the conversation about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. We strive to help individuals find ways to practice these in their day to day lives, but also on a larger scale in the workplace. Check out the ways we've collaborated with companies to accomplish this goal.
Customer's Bank Training (August, 2022)
STAR leaders facilitated two sessions with Customer's Bank team members. The conversations followed the viewing of the mini-documentary "Stand Together" the story of a youth driven movement to fight racism. Team members shared about implicit bias, personal experiences of injustice, and how we can all support one another.
